I have a Drupalista friend from San Diego who will be visiting on 11/14 and we figured since we won't be able to celebrate the release together on the 19th, we'd take the opportunity to do a pre-celebration get together. Join us August 11, 2015 (7PM-9PM) for a night of how-to sessions about the very important Entities layer in Drupal 7 & 8. There will be material for all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced users.

Based on the feedback from February's meetup and our successful meetup structure from last year, we are going to continue our site building series with 2-3 short how-to sessions from community members. We will demonstrate Entity API best practices and some modules that help the process.

Learn how to stop using LANGUAGE_NONE or ['und'] in your Drupal code! Also, if there is time, we'll have some lightning talks at this meetup as well.

Join us July 14, 2015 for a night of knowledge sharing for Drupal developers. There is usually material for all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced users.

This month, we are returning to our our How-To series and going to focus on Forms. We'll show how to create native forms to create content (nodes) or other entities, to fill out surveys (Webform and Entityform), and what to expect from Drupal 8 (EForms). If someone is open to presenting on it, we could also show how to create your own form programmatically.

Finally, if there is time, we'll have some lightning talks at this meetup as well!
