LIGHTNING ROUNDS
New feature. Have a topic you can present in 5 minutes (with 5 more minutes for questions)? The basic idea is there are patterns for developing sites the "drupal" way ("what would drupal do? etc."). Tell us a quick 5 minute recipe for how to put the Drupal "bricks" together. Theming techniques or other things may also be appropriate. Propose it below. Have a topic that needs more then 5 minutes, we have slots of 20 minute talks. These meetups are powered by the community so if you have a subject you are confident about, or have been using come and show us. You can show others what works or talk about what didn't in your current project.

Lightning talk idea
I'm not sure I can make it but
a) I'm interested in finding out if anyone is driving up to Drupalcamp CT on Aug 17th or 18th.
b) I also want to mention the Drupal case studies again. We still need new case studies and we need editor-types to volunteer reviewing the submitted case studies. we're working on a blog post on it for the drupal.org front page, but in the meantime, if anyone wants to suggest sites that deserve to be featured or wants to join the case study reviewers, get in touch!

Our host has requirements about submitting the full name of the attendees to them, because they need to submit it to the building security. That is why we require that you sign up on Groups.Drupal.Org because the signups tab exposes that data for the organizers. This is also why we post the cut off date and I close the signups as I submit the attendees list, so there are no discrepancies.
