Welcome to the Austin Drupal Users Group!
As of April 2025, we are no longer posting events in this group (there are too many places to post events and groups.drupal.org is dying a slow death).
TxDUG / Texas Drupal organizers are collecting contact info for Drupalers in Texas so we can stop being reliant on other platforms (here’s looking at you Meetup.com) for communicating announcements. Please fill out this form so we can email you about Drupal events in Texas (you can choose which regions).
Please join us in the #austin-texas channel on Drupal Slack. If you aren't already on Drupal Slack, join here.
We continue to post our meetups in Drupal.org's Community Events section.
For now, RSVPs for our meetups are in our Meetup Group, but this might change in the future. Best to be in our Slack channel or on our email list.
Hope to see you at an upcoming meetup!
Help with OG and PHP Field
Alright... so I've got a view which identifies users with a sign-up for a workshop and executes a custom php snippet to subscribe them to a group which serves as the on-line classroom. I am using og_subscribe_user for this and it works great.
Now, when the workshop ends, I am going to remove them from the group and purge their contributions from the group. Browsing the CVS I find the og_unsubscribe_user function which looks like it work just like the og_subscribe_user function. Great! Except, the function doesn't exist in the latest stable release of OG.

At our last meetup, Erik Summerfield of http://www.phase2tech... gave a presentation on Section Fronts and Views. Originally scheduled to be a a brief technical presentation to complement the scheduled Color Pairings and Contrasts, this was expanded into a full-length presentation that also included some panels discussion and demos.

Accessing 'to date' in CCK Date field
I am building an on-line classroom utilizing CCK Date field to indicate start and end date. The date field has a start and to date. I have a view which identifies all of the users with a sign-up for any class starting in the next day (now to now +1 day) and performs an operation. What I need is a similar view which will use the 'to date' in the CCK Date field to perform another operation. So, the question is, how can I access the 'to date' in a view?

DrupalCon 2010 Session videos available on Internet Archive
Greetings all,
If you weren't able to attend DrupalCon in SF, you can view the slides and audio recordings of most, if not all, of the sessions from DrupalCon 2010 in San Francisco by going to the Internet Archive at http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=subject:%22DrupalCon%202010%22. I was lucky enough to go, but there were several sessions I wanted to attend that were offered at the same time. This gives me a way to see what I missed.
A sample 1-hour session was available in MPEG4 (320x480)(79MB), OGV (400x300)(264MB) , and WMV (640x480)(208MB).
Cheers,
John

Authorize.net or other gateways for Ubercart
I have set up a few sites with authorize.net, but in each instance, the client has given me the keys/info, and I never dealt with the actual authorize.net net setup.
Can someone speak of his experience from a vendor's perspective as to what is really involved? I think you don't buy straight from auth.net but rather through a reseller-- how does one go about selecting "the right vendor?" What about costs? What other payment gateways have you used with Ubercart?
Thanks
-Bronius
