New Agile Atlas site
Just got this in my scrum alliance newsletter: http://agileatlas.org/
So far it looks like a pretty decent site for getting information on the many terms encountered in agile project management. Good reference.

Ok ok.. last one of the day. I heard through the grape vine, that some of you still haven't seen or reviewed my session from Drupalcon Munich. This. Can. Not. Be! ;)
I had a really good time presenting with Jakob Persson of NodeOne (wunderkrout), and Mattias Axelsson of Happiness in Stockholm in Munich where we chose to address the many issues around estimation. I think it turned into a "what not to do" more than anything else, and it is FULL of our experiences and tips on how to, and how not to estimate your drupal projects.

Munich DC PM BoF Recap - 15 PM Problems & Solutions for you
Below is a recap of the discussions had at my PM BoFs in Munich this August 2012, and the resources we talked about. Thanks to everyone who came and participated!
As is the case with most of the PM BoF’s I’ve done over the past 4 Drupalcons, the conversation I was most interested in was around lessons learned. I love it when people can discuss where their projects went off the rails, why, what drives them crazy and how we can all learn from those experiences and exchange ideas/solutions.
Read morePM ENGAGE! 10 ways to make this group interesting again...
I recently posted about how sad kitteh I am to see no action on this group.
Here are 10 quick/easy things we can do to change this:
1) Share PM articles to create a cool library of info
2) Share PM podcasts or videos to add interactive media to the mix
3) Ask our PM questions, like "Anyone know how to convince a client NOT to do fixed scope/fixed bid?"
4) Write articles about your PM experiences
5) Share your favorite PM tool & why
6) Ask if anyone has experience with "XYZ" methodology, tool or situation to start up a convo
Trello for PM of Drupal Development
Has anyone tried Trello? https://trello.com/
We have recently started using it for team development as well as client review of sites close to launch. We love it so far!
I've also got the Android app and it works well on the iPad too.
Our long-term plan is to integrate Trello with our internal project management and time-tracking site (which is in Drupal 6... for now).
Any other great tools people are using?

What's happening to this group??
Am I the only one in here who is kinda disappointed with the "group" dynamic here? It's almost like all this group has been good for lately is posting jobs that are sometimes not even related to PMs!
If you're interested in getting some real discussions happening in here, please reply.

How do I implement these project management features?
Hi
I'm looking for some advice on implementing these project management features for my website: http://timdiels.be/drupal/node/39#comment-37
It looks like I'll have to do some module coding to get this done, correct? If not, how would you do it then?
Note: I'm willing to contribute to one of the existing project management modules (Storm, Open Atrium, ...?).
Thanks for your time
Read moreWhere to find updates on D8 Development Progress
Though Initiative Owners are doing a fantastic job of keeping up with their individual initiatives, we've recently heard that the community would like more visibility on D8 progress in general. We've been trying to find the right format and we've got something for you to check out! http://drupal.org/community-initiatives/drupal-core
The D8 team of Initiative Owners and its supporters want to make it easier for you to find the most important issues to work on, so we've put together a summary page that we'll be updating it every two weeks, and more frequently on an as-needed basis.

Read moreWhat do you want to see in a RFP?
Part of my role at Gorton Studios is to review RFPs and evaluate if a project and client is a good match for our team. Recently folks embarking on their new web project have asked me what should be included in a RFP. They often have never been through this process before. I have given them my recommendations but I really want to be as complete as possible - solid RFPs helps us all with our work. Here is my list:
-
Organization Overview – who are you and why are you doing this project
-
Project Goals & Outcomes

Hi all,
I'm working on creating a requirements analysis template for our projects, and I'm wondering what your thoughts are on necessary or best practices in a requirements analysis. Either in terms of content, structure, or anything at all really! Just thought it would be interesting to get your thoughts on this very important part of the planning process. I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks!
