Becoming a "Group Organizer" for NYC

I don't think there's a formal process for becoming a group organizer for, but I assume that it should involve a public post to the group to request the status, so here goes:

I'd like to be added as a group organizer.

There are already six organizers (winston, ezra-g, orbgasm, forestmars, jredding & tresler).

As an active member of the group, and as one of the people taking the lead in organizing the NYC camps (or whatever we're calling them now), it would be useful for me to be able to edit events and tweak the layout of the group pages.

LibreOffice Website Could Be Drupal

Many of you probably know that's community leaders have been working to move the project to a new home, sponsored by an independent non-profit Foundation. The foundation's name is The Document Foundation, and unless Oracle gives ownership of the name "" to the foundation, we'll have to choose another one ("LibreOffice" is the working name that will be adopted permanently in that case).

I think it's been agreed upon that we do need to make some changes and additions to who's a part of our group administration here on g.d.o. The goal of our community process for resolving conflicts is reconciliation between members so that we may enjoy together our shared passion about Drupal. Similar to good software security principles of least priviledges this process is based on least resources. It aims to resolve conflicts as simply and directly as possible, increasing in complexity only when simpler methods have not succeeded.
