Drupal After Dark

Hi everyone - there has been a medical emergency in my family and I will be unable to host the meetup at HMC. The meetup will be rescheduled for another date since we don't currently have an alternate location in the area.
Chris

The monthly Inland Empire Drupal meetup will be held on Thursday, November 10 from 7-8:45pm. Following the meetup we'll head over to BJ's for some happy hour drupal fun. This is a free event and everyone is invited - we have a large venue (seats 40+) so come on out and join us! If you'd like to follow along just bring your laptop / charger.

The next Downtown LA Drupal meetup is on October 18, 2011 and will be at Droplabs, a Drupal event and coworking space in Downtown Los Angeles. Created by LA Drupal members for the LA Drupal community, Droplabs is the host of LA Drupal's monthly Downtown LA meetup, the weekly Pro Drupal 7 Development book study group and special events including next month's LA Drupal job fair on November 15, 2011, from 4-7pm.

LA Drupal meetups follow a basic format and start off with Drupal news and announcements, local job announcements, raffle prizes and full-length presentations. We'll also have community Q&A, during which time anyone in attendance can ask questions, divine answers from the crowd and give brief, 5-10 minute-long presentations known as lightning talks. We'll finish off the night with more networking and a Drupal After Dark at 9:30pm.

Light food and refreshments will be served throughout the evening courtesy of our food and drink sponsor, Exaltation of Larks, a Drupal strategy, consulting, development and training company with a team of Drupal experts in Los Angeles.

The High Performance Drupal meetup has moved to Yahoo! at the Yahoo Center in Santa Monica and we're meeting this time on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Join us!

The meetup begins at 7:30pm but the doors open a little earlier at 7pm for Users Helping Users, which is a chance for members of the community to help and be helped by others with whatever questions and problems they're having with Drupal. Several of us may be going to a local bar or restaurant after the meetup for a Drupal After Dark.

If you'd like to give a presentation, announce a job position or ask any questions of the group, please leave a comment below and plan to come a few minutes early. If presenting, be sure to bring your laptop (and power and display cables) and whatever else you need.

This event is free – in fact, there will be raffle prizes and food and drinks will be provided – and no RSVP is required. Those who sign up, however, will have last-minute details (if there are any) sent to them before the meeting. It's also good to know how many to expect so that we can arrange adequate seating, food, drinks, and so on, so please sign up by logging in and clicking the Signup button at http://groups.drupal.org/node/175834#signup

Join your fellow Angelenos and LA Drupalero, for a Drupal After Dark and Game Night at Droplabs between 6-10pm on Thursday, September 22, 2011. We're staying open late after a day of hacking and coworking on our Drupal projects and you're invited!

We have plenty of tables and chairs, so bring a friend and your favorite board game. If you're interested in coming, just post a comment below with an idea of what you'd like to bring.
