Camp and Community trivia?
Hey folks, it's your friendly neighborhood DrupalCamp marketing writer here!
As I work on site copy, it's occurred to me that there could be some cool/interesting history and trivia about our community and its camps. I see that we have a wiki page for drupalcampnyc history (er...well, now I can't find it again...), but more a chronology.

Drupal camps have been very valuable sources for learning many things from Gigs and also update with new stuff. Its really useful to watch videos/slides after the camp is done but everyone having different names based on their group, year which really confuse a lot, I mean they can any name they want but the site name for all the Drupal camps I feel should be consistent so I don't need to track or search for it.
My suggestion is:
year.drupalcamp.groupname
For ex:
2011.drupalcamp.nyc

I've created this page to help the Drupalcamp 10 NYC organizers centralize the links to the pertinent planning documents that we are creating. For this particular camp, we have standardized our documentation tools on Google Docs. That is not necessarily what we'll be using in future camps, but this is what we're using now to keep it simple.

We are thrilled to tell you that we have locked in our space reservations for DrupalCampNYC 10. John Jay is providing us with not only oodles of classroom space, but also use of their theater, cafeteria, and IT support! It's been a pleasure working with their team, and we couldn't be more excited to be on their campus for this event.
