Read moreCommunityBuildrs Group will Meet
Hey all, a while ago I made a few posts about a new group starting to discuss how to build online communities. The first meeting is now set for Thursday, July 26th 7PM at the Santa Monica Library community room. (Wifi/Projector will be there)
The group is likely to have a bit of a Drupal bias in technology terms since that is what I use and a couple other folks attending do too but the group itself is more about building the community in the marketing, networking, monetizing sense and less about the nuts and bolts.

Unless someone would like to step up with a better plan, the West Side Group will meet monthly on the third Tuesday of the month from here on out. This has two benefits:
- We can have some possibility of getting the same folks two meetings in a row; and
- I won't have to worry that, if I miss a meeting, there will be no continuity at all.
I understand the attraction of just having a place to go weekly, ask questions, and chat up other Drupal coders, but I don't think that we have reached the point where this has its own life.
