I would like to invite all Varnish Cache users to join us in our seminar round in New York City on March 11th from 8 to 10 (right after DrupalCon in Chicago).
The agenda will cover the following:
* What is Varnish, what it can do for you and how it solves some real-world problems. By OmniTI
* Usage of Varnish at the NYTimes. By The New York Times
* The future: Varnish 3.0. By Varnish Software
Hi Everyone! :D
Just wanted to drop you a note and let you know that I'm coming to New York as part of the Drupal 7 tour I'm doing with Lullabot. We'll be at The Muse Hotel on February 17th and 18th. It's a 2-day seminar aimed at getting Drupalers up to speed on Drupal 7. We'll be covering new features, configuration, theming, module development, API changes, and upgrading your sites to Drupal 7. Now that D7 is out, we want to make sure that you don't get left behind. By the end of this seminar, you'll be ready to start building sites with the latest and greatest version of Drupal.
If you're planning on going to DrupalCon in March, this seminar will help you get more out of the event by getting you up to speed with the version of Drupal that everyone will be talking about. If you won't be making it to Chicago, this is a great way for you to keep up with Drupal without needing to travel.
Registration is $395 for the 2 days and includes breakfast and lunch on both days. Register before Tuesday (the 11th) and we'll throw in a “Webchick Tour” t-shirt for free. We're doing a lot of work to make this a really great event with lots of really useful information and I hope you'll all be able to make it! :)
