There will be people of all skill levels, and backgrounds that are generally helping one another and getting assistance with issues. Even if you are new come out and ask questions and in a couple of events you will be answering other's questions I promise.

As part of a global initiative to train more Drupalists, Blink Reaction is running another FREE Hello Drupal session in June.

With hands-on training you'll get kick started in learning Drupal. You'll also talk to professional developers who use Drupal. We'll tell you about the kinds of jobs available, and how you can determine which is right for you.

This is suitable for students and career switchers who might consider a career in open source web development.

In this two hour session, experience using Drupal, and learn about the community as well.

Ideal for...

A high level multi-disciplinary seminar on Drupal in your sector from a value added POV.
Learn how others in your sector are using Drupal-based solutions to meet business goals, including:

• Distributing development costs
• Advancing through innovation
• Avoiding product sunsets
• Repurposing licensing fee windfalls

The next NYC Drupal Ladder sprint is happening Sunday, June 2nd. The sprints so far have been a lot of fun, with people diving into the issue queues and swapping dev tips. Come join us!

What's a Drupal Ladder?

The Drupal Ladder project is part of an initiative to help Drupal users get started learning and contributing back to Drupal. The stated goal is to get "just" 1% of active users on drupal.org to contribute to Drupal core by 2014. This is a great way to learn about and contribute to Drupal 8.

What's the plan?

The next NYC Drupal Ladders sprint is happening Sunday, May 5th. The sprints so far have been a lot of fun, with people diving into the issue queues and swapping dev tips. Come join us!

This time we'll be focusing on patch testing, although there will be a number of entry points you'll be able to jump in at.
