Read moreHow to Create Multiple Front Pages for different categories of News ?
Hi,
I want to make a theme that can display the same front page theme layout for some categories/links .
For instance the site will have News categories like local, national, international, business, etc. Each menu link to these should display the same home front page format. And news promoted to front page to these categories should move to the corresponding front pages.
Any ideas, inputs to achieve this will be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

We're looking for options to better integrate our Editorial process into our website and, as part of that project, we have been turned on to Woodwing Enterprise 6 Content Publishing Platform (http://woodwing.com/).
Woodwing is touted as a "three-tiered content management and publishing system" that "connects to Adobe InDesign, InCopy, Web content management systems and a slew of third-party applications".
WoodWing Enterprise 6 claims to offer integration with "any type of content repository" but with out-of-the-box integration with Drupal.

About 12 news categories including local news, sports, entertainment, blogs, etc...
About 50 subcategories. For example news -> World News
Classifieds

Social Networking, commenting on stories, etc.

Multi Views, Multi Pagers
Hi there... I am flummoxed by a Multi Views Multi Pagers (one view embedded in the other) problem (Views 2, Drupal 6):
I am working on a magazine site. We have Issues, and Issues have Articles. I have created a view that lists Articles based on the related Issue (one at a time, with a pager). I have created another View that lists Issue's Covers (one at a time, with a pager), and used a .tpl file to embed the list_articles view.

Updated.
This post inspired by reply of http://groups.drupal.org/user/6482 in similar post.
So, I need "enterprise" solution and can't figure out the way to do.
Imagefield is not acceptable for that.
I want reuse my images.
Example:
I have article about local event. There was vip-person on this event and sponsors.
Sponsors images will appear only here in this article.
vip-person image i get from "vip-person" gallery
event images from "This event" gallery
What is the easiest way for editor to add article and images to drupal?

Advice on Sections for a News Site
Hi everybody,
I started using Drupal a few months ago and am now redesigning the newspapers website that I work for. Before, we had a local web development company creating it for us, but they've become pretty unresponsive to your requests over the past year, so we've decided to create it in-house using Drupal.
Maybe this is a newbie question, but I'm sure everybody has ran into. It regards sections for our news site.
I have set up a Taxonomy vocabulary called "Sections" and inside of it there is a hierarchy for our consistent articles that run each week. Example:

A major Buenos Aires newspaper has invited me to give a presentation early next week on using Drupal.
Apart from the obvious opportunity for myself individually, I feel that the talk will be a great responsibility in that I am representing Drupal itself, and not simply my own services.
I have some great ideas for the presentation, but in light of this responsibility, I would like to receive input from this group in particular.

I'm looking for the best way to set up a email newsletter service within our Drupal site.

I wish to convert a small local newspaper site (pretty standard installation with views and CCK, and a nice theme) to allow identical pages to be displayed of a different language.
