It's been a while since we've had a movie night and it's time to do it again. Join us on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Droplabs, your FREE coworking and hackerspace in Downtown Los Angeles!
This is a great opportunity to get together with your colleagues and coworkers, watch some fun and thought-provoking movies, and just kick back and socialize.
Which movie will be shown is to be determined by the attendees! Post your suggestions and recommendations in the comments and vote on the ones that you want to see! If a movie gets a lot of votes but doesn't end up being selected, we might watch it at a future movie night.
Please note that commercial, feature-length films are obviously not eligible for this and won't be discussed here. Movies we've seen in the past been TED Talks, hacker-themed movies and DrupalCon keynotes and presentations.

What would you like to see on our GDO page?
Hey everyone - just wanted to let you know I've updated our group page a bit. Now it has a block for upcoming events that's always at the top and a listing of active content below. This change alone will make it more clear when events are coming up and hopefully allow us to communicate more effectively with new members interested in attending.
What do you want to see on our homepage? Any resources specific to the IE that you think would be nice to have? Maybe the times / dates of related but not necessarily Drupal usergroups in the area (ie Linux groups, etc)?
Chris

Thoughts on ways to bulk remove users with spam profiles?
I have a community portal where users have the ability to register w/o approval. I implemented Mollom almost a year ago and that has eliminated most of the comment / content spam. However - I've recently noticed an increase in account creation where spammers are filling their user profiles (additional profile fields for my users like bio / website / etc) with their spam links. I actually noticed this with some bizarre twitter spam that was linking to a user profile on my site... Not good - I want to get rid of this garbage.
