Hi, I posted on a few freelance sites and also on the Drupal job board but I have been advised to post in the Drupal LA group because I would ideally like to find someone in Los Angeles to meet with me in person. I don't see a great place to categorize what I am looking for, does anyone have suggestions on how I could find a drupal tutor to work with me a few hours a week?

Hi folks,

On a new site I am building we are using the same theme for mobile and desktop, but for the homepage I want to disable, server-side, some aspects of the homepage when a mobile client appears on our site. The desktop version of the homepage is a very fancy parallax and the mobile version will be function-over-form.

I'm considering using:

And using PHP to enable/disable various aspects of the homepage when it triggers.

There's a large contingent of folks in the Los Angeles area who are going, so feel free to post here if you'd like to offer or request a rideshare.

Yesterday, my webhost told me that one of my Drupal sites was sending out spam, and the emails were coming from the Drupal modules folder. Since it is only a test site I occasionally use, I deleted the Drupal installation.

Then tonight I see the Security group talking about Drupageddon, and how Drupal sites have been compromised with one of the indications being that spam is being sent out from the Drupal site.
