It’s that time again: DrupalCamp 9 is happening in its usual home at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn on April 30, 2011!
This camp will follow the unconference format, while content can be suggested ahead of time, we will select, and schedule sessions at the camp the morning of April 30.
Pre-camp discussion will take place on the sessions page (link will be posted here tomorrow), to get the ideas flowing.
We planned this year’s camp as a single day of sessions, plus an after-camp social event.
Keep your eyes and ears open...registration will begin this Thursday (April 14th)Read more
The next big DrupalNYC camp/summit will probably be Saturday April 30th at NYU Poly in Brooklyn. We'd like to send out a big thank-you to Zivtech for helping us sort out insurance for the event, and thanks to NYU Poly for hosting again.
We're still in the very early stages of planning the details of the event. If you'd like to help make it happen, or shape what the event will be, please join the organizer's mailing list at https://lists.mayfirst.org/mailman/listinfo/drupalcampnycRead more
We're trying to put together funding for a DrupalNYC sticker which we can give out at DrupalCon Chicago and the next DrupalNYC camp. A few of us discussed this after the last meetup and decided community sponsorship would the route to go. If the DrupalNYC community's been good to you, I think this is a good opportunity to promote the community and get a cool, high-quality sticker.Read more

Time to start planning the next DrupalCampNYC!
Forest made a good point at the meetup last night, that it's probably too late now to have another camp in 2010 - December is pretty much useless for events, and November is too short notice. So shall we plan on late January? Ideally we could do an 'intro camp' one Saturday two weeks before the main camp.
How about (subject to venue availability) an intro camp on Saturday the 15th of January, and a camp on Saturday the 29th of January?Read more
